That sounds interesting! I've been using AV1 more and more (thanks to SVT-AV1-PSY/-HDR and devs pushing improvements to main). Also enjoying FHD animated AVIF (vs ancient GIF, although gif.ski helps). AV1 video is not as soft as it once was (esp at high bitrates with synthetic film grain), and combined with OPUS audio, it's all wonderful.

And decent resolution: DVD is forever stuck at SD (480p MPEG). While Blu-ray can be UHD (4K HEVC).

I don't think most people even understand what a primary is (and that we're having them literally right now). Not happy with elected reps? Go vote, pick your team (90% don't bother). Mail-in if disabled (any state). Check out candidates online. Lots of alts and progressives on primary ballots (on Dem side).

Given that 'college graduates' seem to be the group least likely to be fooled by fascist propaganda and idiotic brocasts; Education takes time and commitment (and diplomas are expensive). While there's an unlimited supply of 'non-college' voters who are... let's say easily weaponized to billionaire's causes.

Not to mention the latest generation seems the most hopeless and nihilistic of all, fueled by failed politics and supreme court (and social media garbage that causes brain damage).
