Because of the steep walkway and staircase to Laguna Honda, the SF County Transportation Authority (SFCTA), consisting of the Board Of Supervisors, is looking into constructing a gondola system, presumably from Forest Hill station, to improve accesss.
The City is also looking at the LHH site, which is mostly woods, as a site for affordable housing, including 250 units for seniors.
