@openvibe@mastodon.social It doesn't open in the iOS 18.1 Public beta. It shows the opening screen with the icon but doesn't go anywhere after that.

@pratik@writing.exchange Hi! Sorry about that experience. It seems we have issues with some specific Mastodon instances due to a bug in one of our Mastodon libraries. We fixed that and we will release the new version soon πŸ™

@openvibe@mastodon.social Any progress on posting to Micro.blog? A large number of us practice POSSE https://indieweb.org/POSSE

@pratik @openvibe

Sorry to hijack, but I haven’t been able to open Openvibe since the latest update.

But yes, agree about micro.blog.

@bryan@urbanists.social @pratik@writing.exchange Hi! We just released new version on iOS and Android that should fix this issue. Please try to update the app (and kill it and re-open it after the update) and let us know if that helped 🀞
Thank you!

@openvibe@mastodon.social @bryan@urbanists.social Thanks. It's working now.

@openvibe@mastodon.social I'm testing it out now and it's a really nice solution for a unified timeline. Are notifications planned?

@orci@mastodon.social working on those!

@openvibe@mastodon.social Arsum!

@openvibe@mastodon.social The idea of a uniform timeline is great, but I need it to remember where I left off so that next time I open the app I can start from the last post I read. I realize Bluesky might make this hard, but Mastodon apps do it, so I’m sticking with @IceCubesApp@mastodon.online for now. (For Bluesky, I use Skeets and just keep hoping that iOS hasn’t closed the app since I last checked it.)

@dougdougdoug@mastodon.social thank you for feedback! We want to improve this in the future

@openvibe@mastodon.social I like it, very clean! I do have one suggestion though: instead of jumping to the top of the timeline when refreshing, keep the user at their last-read post, and remember that across app launches.
Ivory does this, and it is a lifesaver because I hate having to scroll back down to figure out where I last stopped reading. It’s honestly why I don’t engage with Bluesky more as no Bluesky client seems to do that at the moment.
If you did that, I’d pay for the app in a heartbeat.

@gregly@retro.pizza thank you very much! We plan to improve the "refresh" experience

@openvibe@mastodon.social Please, add language post settings.

@openvibe@mastodon.social have you considered allowing the user to specify per-service color themes per service, or other visual differences to allow easier differentiation between posts from different services? I dig the app but I think I'd like it more if it had that feature
