This was literally the top feature when buying a new printer: which one allowed me to refill the toner cartridge. It's the 2020s so I've never actually run out of toner, but when I do!

Right to Repair/Ownership

Whether it be electronics, automobiles or medical equipment, the manufacturers should not be able to horde "oem" parts, render your stuff useless if you repair it with aftermarket parts, or hide schematics of their products.
