No comic today in 1950 since it's Sunday, so posting another comic that references Peanuts instead. Pointers to other tributes for upcoming weeks welcome.

How many more weeks until the first Sunday comic?

Randall Munroe has made a few references, but no outright tribute comics. The November "Tongue Awareness" one might be a good fit for next week though.

Looks like January 6th, 1952 was the first one, so not that long overall.

Thanks for the link! References are great, especially since I'm not sure how many direct tribute comics I'll be able to find.
