By golly yes, Democrats should build a better megaphone to get the message out, but it would also be helpful if Dems had a message worth hearing.

Honestly, all they have to do (after creating said message) is get the fuck out of the way of independent left media. They act like left media just wants to criticize Democrats, but that's totally untrue. Left media and their audiences are sick and tired of attacking Democrats, but Democrats keep making it necessary.

Left-wing media is comprised of several pretty good websites, a few magazines, some blogs, podcasts, and half a cable channel. It's nothing compared to right-wing media, which is everywhere.

That's why we need to make they, us. For progressives, beating Republicans means first beating Democrats. The Republicans will be cake.
