I have this weird feeling that the owners of the Mavs are planning a relocation (especially after finding out that Miriam fucking Adelson is the majority owner) to Vegas with the first step of trading literally their franchise player because otherwise I have no fucking clue how a trade that wouldn't even occur in like NBA 2K actually occurs.
Dallas is the 4th largest metro in the us. They aren't gonna relocate the Mavs.
The NBA is garbage. I hate that that THIS is the basketball league we get. Just awful

So it's a really bad illogical trade? I also don't follow sports in my own country let alone the US's
the trade seems so bad people thought that the person who was breaking the story was hacked. Now many are still so shocked that they are hypothesising extreme amounts of corruption

who's MJ and who's Ewing in this trade?
Luka is a top 3 player in the league who's just about to enter his prime, he's been the betting favorite to win MVP the last 3 years. Anthony Davis is a good but older and injury prone center who improves their defense. Luka was probably 75% of their offense. The Mavs are just off a trip to the finals last year thanks to a huge carry job by Luka. Trading him for a Anthony Davis and a 1st round pick might literally be the worst trade in American sports history.
