Welp, I guess that was the last episode for me. This show crashed and burned (hehe) with that idiotic hour long discussion in the burning hut.

They sure had a leisurely discussion in that blazing fire. Good thing the fire took that into account and didn't spread to the wooden floor.

Also, letting a suspect (Haruka) just walk into the gasoline drenched building was really dumb.

Not quite as unrealistic as it seems, maybe—fires tend to burn upward when they can. I would have been more worried about the ceiling catching than the non-gasoline-soaked parts of the floor. But yeah, really dumb and stupidly risky overall.

this seried got weird. the storage portion was so silly towards the end, and I thought this was kind of a serious show given the theme of medical professionals (without forgetting the police just standing idle and gaping their mouths!)

So I wanted to say, I don't know all the details of criminal justice over there, but lady, you had reasonable doubt out the wazoo. Just say: "oh my dad just wanted to start using the danger matches. He had them for years and was stubborn. He never realized or refused to believe they were bad". If the guy hadn't tried to burn the evidence, it would have been easy.

Now I'm just curious if Assistant-kun had insurance for his RX-8 or not...

And whether it covered getting firebombed by an inept arsonist. I have a funny feeling that it's going to be a while before he can afford a new car, poor bastard.
