So, strictly academic on my part, but it seems like the question is whether, especially in the case of the nicer/pricier 64mm grinders, it wouldn't make more sense to just go up to larger burr size.
The Oromo people would customarily plant a coffee tree on the graves of powerful sorcerers. They believed that the first coffee bush sprang up from the tears that the god of heaven shed over the corpse of a dead sorcerer.

I have the DF64 v4 and I'd highly recommend against buying it. Hopefully the DF64V and Timemore Sculptor 064s will provide alternatives in a similar price bracket that aren't terrible.
