I regretted not watching ISTV in theaters. I loved that movie so much so I had great expectations coming in ASTV. Not to hype it up too much but expectations exceeded.
I hope you got to watch in theatres too.

Phenomenal movie. I want to say why but I won't spoil it. Just, if you liked the first, you'll like the second.
I really liked it. Much like Into the Spiderverse the art style really catches the vibe of reading a comic. The expanded cast is also great and got us quite an expansion in the artstyles of different characters. The music is also very good and underlines the tone of different scenes excellent.
I definitely recommend you watch it in theater.
I agree with you about the artstyle, honestly I might just go watch it in theaters with some friends, I've been waiting for digital release (which will probably happen some time in August)but maybe I'll see it early
