Failing that, can't fault a curry. Usually go for the house specials & I'm a sucker for a good saag.

Chinese here is really catered to the local taste, which is a shame because it makes it all very samey regardless of where you go.

Kebab with everything on it if out on the lash, or if I just fancy gastrointestinal distress for whatever reason.

Once a week at most, usually once a fortnight.

I live 10 minutes waking from a pizzeria that has a 7.5€ deal some days of the weeks if you pick them up. The pizzas are quite good, and at that price we have them quite regularly. Also the owners are nice people.

There’s a Cajun place near me. Takeaway is expensive, but I can justify it because I get a ton of etoufee and gumbo and beans at once and eat off it through the week. (If only gizzards and hush puppies kept as well..)

Once every 2-3 weeks. Although most places near me have been dropping in quality so it's happening less and less.

Once every 2 months or so. Usually Chinese. We have 2 authentic Chinese restaurants nearby, sometimes we eat there directly, other times takeout. Even if we eat there, we order more, so we take the rest home and have a few more meals with some supplementation that I cook.

Once every 4-6 weeks. Closer to 3-4 if you count grocery store sushi when buying other groceries.

I don't tend to get it, it's expensive and I don't like it enough to justify it. I'd rather buy a fancy cake... there's a shop near me that does brownies that are £4 (eeep!) but are the greatest brownies that have ever been baked

They really are. I've told the woman who makes them I'd happily marry her just to get them on tap.

There's a place that's pretty close to a lot of our jobs that does a slamming breakfast burrito. I try to get one a week. It's deff a highlight on chilly or rainy days.

Never.

Or almost never.
