nikon dslr body and f-lenses - what to do in 2025? (discuss.tchncs.de)

hi, d750 user here with a full range of - imo - good glass: primes and tele lenses (f-mount). with the new z-mounts my gear is now at a dead end. i am thinking about selling everything and swapping to sony, as i don't want to spend my money on the hight priced z-lenses (i am a hobbyist). additionaly, the whole z-system is not a big improvement on size/weight reduction. for me, it's hard to say goodbye to a full gear seat which I bought over the years. has anybody else gone through this and if so, what are your learnings/advice? thank you so much in advance.

Well it's not like your current gear stops working. Unless it breaks, it'll still take pictures like it always has.

Ultimately it's up to you, of course.
