(Sleepytime Edit. I'm going to bed. If you leave a question, I'll get back with you as soon as I can!)
I'm in Wichita, Kansas, protesting out in front of the Koch mega-estate. It's inside city limits but well-hidden, and swarming with private security and dozens of cameras. It's a spooky looking place once you "know" what it is you're even looking at, and I've been raising that awareness for years.
I have a LOT I could say on all this, so it makes it a little easier for me if y'all just ask questions. I can give insights into sign-making, or messaging, or how to deal with hecklers/violence/counter-protestors, etc. I can also help with wardrobe choices, and optics-issues in general.
I can also talk to you about systemic issues we're all facing, and how the demographics where I live are splitting along each issue. I have a weird spicy-brain hyper-focus for these sorts of things.
I've been at this for years, but every day, yeah, for 46 days. Snowstorm, duststorm, rain, blazing heat - hasn't stopped me yet.
I've helped people, I've had dozens of people show up to stand with me, I've connected people to city resources, and have found myself in a unique position to drive direct citizen engagement wholly-legally and to the utter horror and frustration to a certain "class" of daily drivers...
I need to talk about this. It's getting more dicey out there by the day, and it'd suck to get vigilante'd before getting my words out there, you know?
