I love that most of the reddit comments are like "what the fuck is he on about?".

But for real imagine the hissy fit if Cuban athletes praised those who fought against literal American invasions, before a sporting event.

My brain couldn't process it because it was so absurd in context. I was like, "...wait, we're talking about the WBC, right?"

Most of the comments are clowning on him, a decent amount are indignant that people are clowning on him because muh troops, but then you've got this turbolib in a league of their own:

He just praised the US military more in 30 seconds than our sitting president has in 2 terms.

How much you wanna bet they've also said, "I disagreed with John McCain about a lot, but he was a good man who served our country"?
