I usually don't trust big site reviews, but seeing an RTS getting an 85 in 2025 is still head turning

Or maybe we're starved for RTS in the traditional sense

we have modern RTS already such as Age of Mythology Retold and Age of Empires 4 for medieval and magical stuffs. But, we lack futuristic science fiction based RTS with modern weapons like this in 2025. That is why this title is mind blowing.

Right you are. I forgot about the medieval/ fantasy RTS games. Mainly I'm not that interested in them. I like otw scifi / modern army RTS

We're starved for new RTS games. But modding scene for old ones is thriving! To me, I didn't enjoy the demo... It's lacking "soul"... It might be because I just want more of the same? DWORF or whatever that over the top red alert 2 inspired game coming out has my hope... It has theover the top voice acting plus comically big units... THAT IS what I want.

DORF is absolutely amazing looking. It has that big oversized cheesy look of Red Alert 2, but as well that the silhouette of the units looks easy to identify at a glance.

I think Tempest is closer to like C&C 3 TibWars

At least it's not a SC2 "killer". I mean I like SC2 enough but I don't quite like it as C&C
