i have basic self hosting experience with docker compose mostly and the Arrs, but would love to have an instagram alternative for close friends and family. pixelfed seems to be the option but just looking at the guides and some of the posts about it and it seems daunting. any advice?

I've tried running it too, with little success 😔 And I run like 30 services at home
