The episode is With Interest, the bank heist episode.
“I said, ‘I don’t believe in a bank heist in 2025,’” Cox recalled. “I really pushed back on the episode, and yet I hear from so many people that they love that episode. So, it just goes to show you just don’t know. It’s so subjective. Everyone’s taste is different.”
Bank robberies are a cliche, but it's always neat to see the new approaches to a cliche.
Justified's bank robbery episode comes to mind (s2e6, Blaze of Glory) where it all shakes out that only two old men are left for the final showdown.
Yeah, that episode felt weird and forced. It really didn't seem to fit the overall flow of the season.
