This album was my life when I was in 8th grade.
I was 21, and I fucking loved this album.
I still do! I never was able to get into other FNM stuff, or any of Mike's other projects. The Real Thing was the perfect mix of everything.

Oh, for sure. The "Epic" video stood out on the top 20 list like a brightly coloured thumb mashed into your eyes.
Incidentally, I had to pick my thrift store turntable apart a couple months back, and it's apparently made the same year โ at least the motor, which was the only part I noticed with a production date printed on it.
