What I love about Star wars lore is that there was one throwaway line about Bothan spies in the movies and now it's an entire species of spies and their whiskers are used to help read emotions.

Weren't they the ones who stole the Death Star plans or something that they totally forgot about during Rogue One? Do they end up with some retcon in Andor s2 or is this a completely new thing?
