We all know Aldi are pretty good for the weekly shop but some products just don't cut the mustard or are even absent from the shelves.

What product or products are you forced to get from the big rip off supermarkets or elsewhere?

A good local baker, especially one that will make a decent sourdough, is a must wherever we live.

Aldi's deli meat in the packets are not fit for human consumption particularly the ham and chicken loaf. The salami and twiggy sticks are passable though. I go to Coles or the local deli if I want ham.

I had to stop buying milk at Aldi because it would spoil within a week, even the half-gallons.

Probably not applicable in Australia, different suppliers etc.
