For those that seek a future that brings together the best of the insights and objectives of people who, within the social democratic and democratic socialist traditions, have worked through farmer, labour, co-operative, feminist, human rights and environmental movements, and with First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples, to build a more just, equal, and sustainable Canada within a global community dedicated to the same goals.

It should but the reality at least for us and our son is it’s not accessible at all. In Ontario our son who has autism and is partially verbal has never had ABA or any form of therapy in his life.

Why? Even though he has been accepted for OAP (Ontario Autism Program) and SSAH (special Services At Home) he has been on the waiting list for funding release for over 3 years now. Not just him. Thousands are in the same boat.

These people are not getting what they need to live in society there will be repercussions for both them, the public and the hospital system for years.

Canada needs to decide whether or not they want to take care of their disabled or not, now. Not leave them in limbo on and on. It is inhumane.

I have checked most every country in the world and Canada is sadly lacking in its care, in the developed nations, for the disabled even worse than the states (pre rump). I know as I live it every day and I am not alone.
