Hello everyone!

I'm looking for an option to play 3DS games on a Steam Deck.

I'm using RetroArch for SNES and N64, but I'm lacking a core for 3DS. Guides I found online are all pointing to dead or old sources.

Any suggestions or ideas? Ideally something that integrates with RetroArch (not a must tho)?

I am not very familiar with how stuff works under Linux, so I'd need a bit of hand holding unfortunately.

Thanks in advance!

I think EmuDeck installs Azahar these days, which appears to be a fork of Citra.

Citra may be "dead", but it still works great, including with retroarch. Seems to still be available on the internet archive.

Is citra dead? As I know it works also if u don't wanna bother about installing all stuff just use https://www.emudeck.com/ it will download es-de launcher which integrated retroarch consoles citra and others and it will be all available in steam launcher apps

Weil I ever be able to uninstall emudeck again?

Last time I tempered with something outside of Steam on the Deck, I had my storage filled and had to wipe... 😉

This site is a fantastic resource for all your emulation needs.

This page lists 3DS emulators and shows which are active and recommended.
