I lost my esphome config in HA. I have several devices (sonoff S31) that show up in HA asking for encryption keys when I try to add them, which I don't have as old HA vm is gone. Is there anyway to reset them to base esphome config without disassembling and reflashing esphome? From what I can tell googling this, the answer is no, but thought I'd ask before I go ahead with that plan.

Depends on the device. Holding down the power button for 10s works in most cases though.

Thanks for the idea, no dice. Tried for 30s as well just in case. Devices are sonoff s31s

Well then hold it for 10s and cut power to it while still holding the button.

I'm confused here...you DO know you can just reprogram the device over USB and overwrite everything, right?

Yes, I was hoping there was an easier method. Doesn't look like that's working though.
