Iβm a crazy person but itβs also imperative that I return home in one piece haha. I just started riding so better to be more cautious than not
Please keep this attitude - riding in weather is not a death sentence, however you need time in the seat to understand how to deal with it safely.
At least you can look at your awesome bike without any battle damage, rather than looking at mangled fairings because you dumped it riding on oil that sits on the surface right when the rain starts, or wet leaves in the fall.
You're doing it right! You only get one life, and with life being so expensive right now, you don't need a repair bill for your bike OR your body on top of it.
You'll get there, I promise π
Yeah oil slicks coming out right as it rains was something they first taught at my riding course (as well as not riding in the middle of the lane). It was 5C and raining out when I did my course so I know rain isnβt that much less traction but ya. Donβt wanna dump the bike when I can avoid it π£
Either that or shop for more gear π
The Helite airbag backpack is out of stock everywhere so I canβt π settling for Isle of Man TT on my steamdeck.
