Georgia authorities said their goal was to serve warrants for crimes against children. They swept people up and got immigration detainers later.

Yeah that's a thing they can just basically do now, technically there are technicalities but one of them would require the officer who is arresting to be honest about why they are arresting so it doesn't matter.
