Just realized, we now have 2 Martins and 2 Christians (in addition to our three Gabriels) in the squad.
New Ethan deal incoming says Ornstein via Arseblog.
9 goals and 2 assists in 37 appearances is pretty good for a 17/18 year old!
I like the stability of the club right now. It's nice we seem to have been able to retain our core group of players for a couple of seasons in a row.
I don't know if it's culture or maybe FFP has kind of caught up or maybe the "project" but it feels like we haven't had a RvP or Nasri type departure in a while.
There's been murmurings regarding Saliba and Nwaneri, but I think that's more due to them being closer to the end of their contract and nothing feels substantial.
We haven't had any clubs come in for Saka or Øde for example.
Subject to change of course, I'm just enjoying it for now.
It's cuz players feel like we can win things here and now; we're the destination club again now. Why leave a club competing for the title in the best league in the world with a massive fanbase?
Konate to Real is looking more likely now
That'd be good. Keep the interest nice and low :)
Eze + Gyokeres > Isak
We're doing really well in the transfer market so far this summer, but this shit with Gyorkeres is slowly killing me.
I get where the Sporting director is coming from: he wants a fair price for an independent player. I also get where Berta is coming from: he doesn't want us t to be pressured into overpaying, which is a good thing. But holy shit, please just end it already!
