The food depicted in the roughly 2,000-year-old fresco did not include cheese and tomato but could be a “distant ancestor” of pizza, archaeologists said.

If you zoom in you can see the pineapple pieces.

Pineapple is from the New World, so Europeans won't have had it until about half a millennium ago, but ham, the other half of Hawaiian pizza, is Old World.
