Can I block instances not just communities? (sh.itjust.works)

Hello,

My Lemmy experience is so far so good but there is one little problem. Right now I'm discovering new communities so I usually use All to see every community. And the problem with that is there are a lot of loli hentai, futa hentai and generally porn. I know that I can block those communities individually but it would be easier to just block whole instances like lemmynsfw. Can I do it or instance blocking is only possible instance wide?

Not atm.

Best solution: go to your user settings, disable NSFW. The lemmy NSFW instances are doing a pretty good job so far of policing their communities to make absolutely sure that all posts are correctly tagged as NSFW.

If you wanna see that content at a later date, just enable NSFW again.

Definitely think we need this feature. Also an option to allow NSFW but blurred by default on Kbin.

On jerboa if you go to a community there are three dots top right which open a menu where you can block communities. I havent found a way to unblock them so use carefully.
