Boost and Sync were my top two over the years. Happy to see Boost is making this switch too!

Seeing all these new Lemmy apps popping up.. such a nice view

[–] Lonewolf28@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I really like Lemmy so far even though it isn’t perfect yet. Adding a 3rd party app will make using this even easier.

I'm using Connect for Lemmy currently and it seems to be working okay. Just takes some getting used to, of course.

[–] Sarcastik@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Another former booster using Connect. Not bad for being such an early stage product.

As of the last update. It has surpassed Jerboa for me. So my ranking for best app at present is connect, jerboa and liftoff.

Jerboa is butter smooth if you are using an instance that is updated to 18. But unusable if you are in an instance that is still in version 17 (beehaw)

Wow.. I just uninstalled Boost after midnight. Looks like it will be back soon :)

Great news! I loved boost for reddit.

I still can't believe spez did this. And continues to do this. What a prick

[–] stebo02@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago (3 children)

Actually if this causes decentralized social media to get more popular we should be thankful lol

This is great! I was so sad when Rubén.said he wouldn't develop boost for lemmy. I think he did create a community as a kind of placeholder, so maybe i should go find it again

This is the most exiting fedinews I've ever read.

[–] CosmicExplorer@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago

The promise of Boost for Lemmy is what got me to sign up.

[–] Gruntyfish@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago

This is so exciting! I used boost for reddit for 6 years and loved it! Can't wait to use it with lemmy

Awesome, used to use the reddit version and really liked it, switched from the official app and never looked back. Excited to try it out when it releases (also this is my first comment on lemmy, been lurking for a week or so but I think it's time I start interacting)

[–] techgearwhips@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago (6 children)

This is good news. Boost was my favorite until I switched to infinity.

Pretty cool. I think this would be a nice place to migrate to.

I was a RIF user and would like to see something similar over here. RIF feed is over. Rip.
