Thunder has the best UX out of any of the lemmy apps I've used.

Agree! But tbh that wish right or farther right for upvoting and stuff is kinda weird tho, but overall I like it the most so far.
I'm waiting for both Sync and Boost to come out with their Lemmy offerings and will probably end up with one of those. In the meantime, I'm trying Thunder and WefWef, but have also heard good things about Liftoff. Here is a list of the current (and upcoming) crop if you want to experiment: https://lemmy.world/post/465785
I had to leave Jerboa as well (at least until they fix the crashing on launch) and I'm liking Thunder (available on fdroid and github they have a iOS version for the interested) with connect as second favourite (available on the playstore, not sure about iOS)
Thunder has one annoyance, they don't really have a profile tab, so you can't see saved posts on the app. And connect's post writing sometime glitches on me.
The latest Jerboa update does seem to have fixed that fyi
I use lemmy as a PWA. You can install it directly from your browser.
The last few releases of Jerboa have been atrocious. It's currently crashing when backing out of activities, voting, or commenting. I tried Thunder but the UI is extremely confusing for me.
I like Connect. It has it's own bugs though.
That's the one I'm using as well right now though the newest update introduced significant lag when interacting with the sidebar, I'm unsure if that's cause of the number of subs I subbed to.
Using connect until boost is released
None of the current apps are amazing, but some are pretty useful already. I currently mostly use Liftoff or Connect. Jerboa is indeed way too buggy lately. I also have Thunder, Summit and Lemur, and I've signed up for Sync. I just checked out Thunder and it's also coming along nicely.
I would suggest to install a few and check them out every now and then. Basic functionality is there but time will tell which will get the most polished and which will suit you the most.
