So much on track action, Hulkenberg's early brilliance betrayed by his tires, Ocon defending for his life, the four car battles further down the field and the uncertainty about pit strategy, overtakes all race long and best of all, no crashes, no safety cars, no red flags!

Yes the win was sadly once again a foregone conclusion with Max outrunning absolutely everyone, but it was incredibly fun to watch regardless.

If tomorrow's race is just as action packed it'll be the best race of the season so far by quite some margin.

These races need a bit of chaos it seems, because that was great.

Someone needs to stuff some sandbags in Max’s side pods or something. Even he sounds bored on the radio at the end.

I enjoyed that though.

The battle at the end with some of the slicks coming through was awesome. Russell really made the gamble pay off.

Hulkenberg too. Too bad the Astons were just a little too far ahead, in the last three laps he closed an eleven second gap to Alonso, one more lap in the race and he could have overtaken them as well.

Was pretty good for a sprint race, but honestly just felt like a tease in a lot of ways lol

Really enjoyed it. Still find the format of the weekend confusing though.
