LOL, omg right? The bit where Charlie dreams he's being sent to hell literally fucked me up as a kid. I had no idea what was going on there, but I wanted no part of that. I used to close my eyes when that part came on screen. 10/10, would let Don Bluth traumatize me as a child again.

Edited to add: I love how the studio execs changed a the tommy gun into a "ray" gun, because that was too scary, but literally let Bluth send the MC to a fully artistically realized hell for an entire scene...
