Does anyone else have an issue with HSV ending the recording before the motion that triggered the recording has left the frame? All four of our cameras do this and it drives us crazy.

Would love to here if we’re alone and if anyone else has a fix…?

What kind of motion are you referring to?

Any motion that triggers a camera to start recording.

As and example if someone were to walk across the field of view of the camera, all that gets recorded is from a half second before they enter the frame through maybe 1/3 of the field of view. Then the recording ends.

Yeah. It’s been frustrating. It worked fine for the first couple weeks, but it’s been like this ever since.

Maybe try restarting your home hubs

How long are your recordings? Is it usually just a car pulling up for example? Or is it people standing outside talking for 5m?

They cut out after about 10 seconds. Usually whatever triggered the motion detection is still in the middle of the frame.

That was basically the conclusion I came to.

I can only hope possibly removing and re-adding the cameras to the Home helps when I have the chance (or God forbid - deleting and recreating the entire Home 🫣)
