Nothing fancy, neither is terribly new or old. Not being able to sew is really holding me back on DIY projects.

Is there an "Operating a Sewing Machine for Dummies" video or tutorial you like?

I just look up the model you got and if you don't find anything then a model similar so they can show you how to run the string and all that how to use your little winder for the bobbin thingy

Check out sailrite on YouTube. They've got a ton of videos. They're very outdoor/Marine centric but have tons of great how to videos.

I bought one of their kits to build a huge 28' long zippered cover for my sailboats front sail and with very little experience was able to successfully make it.
