If you're going to set off fireworks, clean up after yourselves!

This is what was left all over our sidewalks, lawn, and driveway this morning.

To be clear - WE were not setting off fireworks.

Bad enough I had to run my car through a car wash too!

I'm not going to be a jerk with the "hurrr durrr Portland fireworks ban..." but if you're going to use them, be responsible and clean it up!

Theyre not even legal in my neighborhood... yet we still had fireworks stands selling them. WTF?

Banned in Portland city proper, but not in Clackamas, Tigard, Beaverton, Gresham, etc.

The ones I saw were literally 50 feet outside of town.

People buy them literally anywhere else and bring them in.

Wilsonville sounded like a war zone yesterday

Despite the city ban (or perhaps in spite of the city ban?) this year was off the fucking hook for fireworks. The duration and intensity of them was well beyond what I’ve previously experienced in living on this neighborhood for the last 15ish years. Fuckers.

The intensity was fine, one of our 3 cats was mildly startled, but got over it. The trash though...
