Aesthetics. Frames are not very noticeable. It's not pixelated too much. Things move at a pleasant speed. Attrntion to detail, city lights flashing in the background and water waves from the train moving. The colors are creating a nice atmosphere.
So basically the opposite of your average pixel art.
