Might be missing something but how do I search for posts on Jerboa? I see a Search tab at the bottom but there's no field for me to enter what I want to search for.

Also, I've been able to join some communities successfully, but on others I see a "Pending" status. What needs to happen to change this to "Joined"?

Have you tried the left search tab? idk why there's two of them but the left one is working for me.

Für me, the left one return nothing. Have to use web interface for searching atm...

Are you logged in?

!jerboa@lemmy.ml or !lemmy_support@lemmy.ml are the right comms for this kind of post in the future, btw :) This comm is intended for open-ended questions

Edit: Regarding the pending status, it's most likely lemmy.ml comms you see that status on, it's simply because there's a delay on the server because of its heavy amount of users. Sometimes you end up subscribed by itself, other times you need to try again at a later time

Thanks for the response, will check out the other two comms!

On my version of Jerboa (it just updated) that right "search" option was relabeled to say "saved".

Use the magnifying glass labeled search. Where you are is mislabeled in the latest Jerboa release and is for posts or comments you've saved.
