Why does Credit Karma stop recognizing my account occasionally? (lemmy.ml)

It sends me a verification code to log me in and says that it knows my email address but not my device, which is the same device that I have been using.

It's for security. They just want to confirm you're you from time to time.

Other things like a dynamic residential IP Addresses changes from time to time, or someone clearing the browsers cache can be the cause too.
