Anon isn't wrong but you can just lie, get a paycheque, and continue the hunt.

This is assuming there are bills to pay. Not that that makes it any less soul crushing.
Much easier to light the highly disorganized and for the most part filled with boxes of obsolete trash stock room than the front end.
