Laggy scrolling on post with multiplied image (lemmy.ml)

Is it just me that Eternity becomes laggy when scrolling on multiple images? I tried scrolling the post on lemmy website and it works just fine. post example

Confirming it isn't just you. Has happened to me since day one on Eternity. Doesn't bother me a whole lot, but it does occur.

Yup, as long as the pics are on screen, the scrolling is laggy. I guess it's loading the full size pics rather than shrinked down versions.

Yes, it loads the full size of the image instead of scaling it down. It's an old issue that I need to fix. It has been reported here.

Tried going to the post example. For me it completely crashes the app.
