You might be able to find a used Leaf in that price range. I've got one from 2019 with 230 mile range. New, it was $31k after the tax credit so that'd be right out, unless you can find a really good deal from dealers wanting to move inventory with the Leaf being discontinued.

Quality's been pretty good overall. There was an issue with the distance sensor that was covered under warranty, and a few minor things like a speaker buzzing that the dealer also fixed. Other than that it's been rock solid, so if you can find a used one, it should still work great.
