Feels like this has been a little bit slept on. Looks promising! Decent pedigree from the devs having done the first Lords of the Fallen and The Surge series.

Looks to be moving away from the Soulslike direction their recent titles have taken and more towards a more conventional action RPG. Movement looks cool!

Game looks pretty promising. I think the move towards more of action rpg is good. Souls clones are a dime a dozen these days.

Yeah even as someone who loves those types of games it's definitely a thing that's beginning to impose itself on the space a bit too much at this point. This looks fresh compared to how most third person RPGs are these days.

ACG has a preview vid from a bit ago for an outside perspective: ACG Atlas Fallen Preview

I played it at PAX East. It seems competent, but even with a 15-20 minute demo, it was difficult to fully grasp how well the game will hold up over long periods of time. The best way to summarize it is Horizon: Zero Dawn, but the combat plays like old school God of War with a super meter.

It looks intriguing. The enemy battles look really fun. But the game also looks very empty. The only other humans shown (outside of the co-op play) were in cutscenes. And traversal looks like it could be a bit of a slog. I'm curious to see more. Has there been a release date announced?
