Lemmy/voyager noob here... When I click on that link it doesn't open the community in voyager, it opens it in an internal browser where I'm not logged in so I can't easily subscribe unless I log in or go back and search for the community. What do I need to do in order to get clicked links to open the community in voyager?

Search for frugal@lemmy.world under "communities", that works for me. I'm hoping future updates will improve community subscriptions.
Try using an exclamation point before the link, that works for me in Voyager.

I'm having the same problem. Clicking the link, searching in voyager, searching with either the full URL or short doesn't fine anything other than another Aussie one or this post. I'm sure I've added other new communities simply. Is it a syntax or formatting thing?

Q: Why do I get a 404?
A: At least one user in an instance needs to search for a community before it gets fetched. Searching for the community will bring it into the instance and it will fetch a few of the most recent posts without comments. If a user is subscribed to a community, then all of the future posts and interactions are now in-sync.
Q: When I try to create a post, the circle just spins forever. Why is that?
A: This is a current known issue with large communities. Sometimes it does get posted, but just continues spinning, but sometimes it doesn't get posted and continues spinning. If it doesn't actually get posted, the best thing to do is try later. However, only some people seem to be having this problem at the moment.
