TBH I have largely given up on this instance. It's getting on for a month with federation problems and an ill-advised upgrade to an incompatible pre-release Lemmy version that locks out mobile apps. No attempts to fix, no communication that I have seen. This is the sort of stuff you expect/do on a homelab instance, not something intended for general use.
On top of everything else I didn't get any notification on the old subdomain that I had a reply. So that's broken too, yeah.
This was my preferred "backup" instance but I may need to use another at this rate.
Yeah, I used to donate to support this instance but I just canceled that.
I’ve ended up patching Lemmy 0.18.5 to run on my OpenBSD machine at https://lemmy.srcbeat.com Best to try and go to another instance or just self-host. It’s not good for the network to have a dodgy node for so long, IMO.
Yeah, I can't even get it to show subscribed posts on the main page, it keeps showing the posts that show when you're not logged in. Maybe I should switch instances again.. This is really getting unusable.
Oh, that happens sometimes. Just hit refresh when it does.
Well, not sure if it was the case when you posted this. but outgoing federation seems to be broken once again.
Edit: Probably yes. This post isn't visible from lemmy.world.
Update: just logged in and this appears to be fixed now.
