These are people with common sense and logic, I don't get how they don't see it's wrong to mass slaughter sentient beings in the nature.
They don't care. The purported reason as per the article is "cultural and local traditions".
But actually these people enjoy going on this mass killing spree together. They actually look forward to a day out with their friends rounding up dolphins with their boats, beaching them, and then slaughtering them with knives. It gives them pleasure and if you say that's evil you are apparently being insensitive to their traditions.
The fact they recently slaughtered 1,400 whales and a law had to be passed to cap their activities to a max of 500 tells you all you need to know.
They don't care about sustainability. They only care about their bloody "culture".
