Cuisine of the month:
i like black tea better but my experience has generally been having black tea that's gifts from chinese family vs green tea bought from western producers so i imagine there's a pretty big difference in what im drinking.
Even shitty black tea from like lipton is better than green tea. Black tea has actual flavor to it whereas green tea is just slightly leaf flavored water and I can't stand it.
Raw puer > oolong > green > ripe puer > black > white > herbal
green tea by far, it's so soothing and comforting to me, whereas black tea tends to make me more anxious, much like coffee. I also just like the taste better
my go-to is dragon well (longjing) green tea, it's the first loose-leaf tea I tried and still my favorite. I'm drinking it right now :)
though I do drink black tea sometimes. assam is good and I also like russian caravan which tastes like a campfire - it's not for everyone
Ginger and lemon tea
Chai, which I learned recently is usually black tea.
green
I prefer green tea, but that’s just my opinion
All tea, but especially roasted oolong. Limiting yourself to green or black is for uncultured swine.
