Can we please get autoplay blocking for videos? (kbin.social)

I just had 2 play over themselves on my feed. I'd rather not block channels or users just to stop it. Videos should never autoplay in the threads

I agree. Unrelated, but where are videos at? I don't even see pictures unless I choose to load them (other than a thumbnail).

Just on the main thread. I have media set to show on kbin so it's more like a reddit experience and I don't have to open images like you. Unfortunately that means video files load and autoplay. It would be better if video media was loaded as a thumbnail if they cant put a script on them to prevent it.

Oh ya, I see. That is unfortunate. Ernest seems pretty willing to make changes based on suggestions when appropriate 🙂

you could just turn off media shown by default 🤷‍♂️
