I’ve seen this on other welcome to madto things and it really bothers me:

Stop suggesting people join mastodon.social

SO MANY other instances (including mine) have it either limited or outright blocked because it’s so badly moderated, that a newbie is going to have such a skewed view. And so many newbies fall off and onto other platforms like bluesky because that’s easier than switching instances.

When you boost an older post, say, a few days/weeks+ old, how do you typically find it? in c/fediverse@fedia.io
