@renwillis @fediverse "Suggested" posts are a cancer on social media. I don't mind them in their own dedicated feed but my primary use is to network with my friends, family, and social groups and I don't want "suggestions" injected into that feed in every other post from people I don't care about.

@feditips @fediverse Is there a Fedi version of something like Facebook Groups? Social circles for a specific topic? Calckey looks like it has something similar but they are currently not federated and also I've found the platform in general to be very unstable.

@thenexusofprivacy @lemmy @fediversenews I find that technical people are very much unaware of how complicated the things they do are for the average person. To the extent that they'll often be really rude about it.
