There's a size limit for pictures, this varies from instance to instance, on mine lemm.ee it's 100kb.

As a woodworker myself, I can sympathise. My personal take is, if it can be done with hand tools but it takes more time, I'm willing to take the extra time. I love hand tools!

Sorry if this is a really basic question, how do I upload an image? Is there a max size, I've tried twice, but I can't see the image once I create the post.

Your help is very much appreciated.

Hi all, how are you?

As the title says, I'd like some suggestions on media about & around the topic of simple living.

Thank you.

That's the one, it's more of a philosophy book, im finding it interesting. I'm around a quater of the way through. Lots of quotes from the old greek philosophers. I'm enjoying it, but it's quite a bit to read at times. To say it's a book on simple living, the language used is far from simple.

I'm actually reading a book called The Philosophy of Simple Living. It's quite difficult to get into, but it's a good book so far.

Here is a translation from some of the original posts made by Luo Huazhong (the Kind traveler).

His rejection of modern life & the way he chooses to live his life struck a chord with some people in china, so much so that he seems to have been banned from posting & mention of Tang Ping is also not allowed.

Its an interesting read!

This was one of my favorite reddit communities to lurk, & since I couldn't find a similar community here yet, i decided to make one. Feel free to upload pictures, videos, ask questions & generally share your simple life with everyone. Please be respectful, & courtious, not everyones simplicity is the same & that's okay.

I'd drop a note, to avoid the awkward conversation that might happen & to avoid embarrassing your neighbour.

No, I made my old user name in my early 20s & it just doesn't fit anymore.
